Hi Friends,

To add up about the Reliance's foray in broadband.

Reliance has put up a great infrastructure to be in a
big way in the broadband.I take care of Rajasthan
Webworlds which are a showcase of Reliance's
capability.

We are the frontrunners in the Video Conferencing in
India. Beleive the infra put by Reliance is the best
in the world. Our infra allows 25 users to do a VC
multi party multi location at 768 kbps. The no of
users can go to 50 on 384 kbps. We have done so many
VC's internationally but could not see anybody having
more than 256kbps bandwidth. the VC through us can
connect 50 users on VC + 100 mobile/Telephone
endpoints + 12 ISDN ports. This is huge capacity. Even
the best of the operators donot offer these. there are
2 operators one i remember HQ.com does not matches us.

Reliance is also planning to connect the homes thr
optical fibre. after some time through a single remote
you would be able to access internet @ speeds over
500kbs, see vdo on demand, your cable and telephone
connection thr the same connection. The testing is
undergoing in Mumbai and Blore for the same.

Hi Rahul,
I was slightly occupied for the last two days with two clinets visit from UK. They had visited us to see our facilities and also gauge our BPO capabilities in Back-Office Processing and Transaction Processing we have doing for various clients in US & UK.

Since you have triggered this , let me take the opportunity to explain what we are doing. There are some books which will always change the way you think. Here is my short list.
1. Seth Godins (Unleashing the Ideavirus). I think it was very good book if you happen to read in 1998-2000 era. Remember those golden days..
This was the one of the first book released on net before going to the book store. You can download from here.

2. Peter Druckers The Essential Drucker
Currently I am reading this book. I think its a good book, I guess people with MBA or managemnet background can comment well on this book.

Enterprise Management Software

Let me take the initiative kick-off a discussion on a subject that has
put
me in a dilemma.

We are evaluating an Enterprise Mangement System from HP, CA, BMC. All
products seem to provide the same functionality. After some subtantial
study, i guess the decision is more strategic then porduct evaluation,
ofcourse considering that the processes and people are in place.

Any thoughts, feedbacks, suggestion, guidance?
